NFL in 5 Words: 10/23/06
Don't have time for a full NFL column? Well I don't have time to write one! So here are my rankings of NFL teams, with explanations in five words or less (excluding punctuation).

1. Bears (6-0): Defense and Offense? Crazy.
2. Colts (6-0): Offense and Offense? Status quo.
3. Patriots (5-1): Destroyed the Bills. So what?
4. Bengals (4-2): Palmer still a little shaky.
5. Giants (4-2): Impressive Monday Night road win.
6. Chargers (4-2): Merriman loss worries me.
7. Rams (4-2): Still a prolific offense.
8. Broncos (5-1): Still wanting an offense.
9 Saints (5-1): Still not a believer.
10. Vikings (4-2): Is
11. Panthers (4-3): This Cowboys game is huge.
12. Cowboys (3-3): This Panthers game is huge.
13. Eagles (4-3): Something just doesn’t seem solid.
14. Jets (4-3): Two words: Leon Washington.
15. Seahawks (4-2): With injuries, expect them dropping.
16. Ravens (4-2): Quick start… Long season.
17. Chiefs (3-3): Two words: Larry Johnson.
18. Bucs (2-4): Finally turning it around.
19. Falcons (4-2): No defense. Vick inconsistent.
20. Steelers (2-4): Big Ben, take week off.
21. Jaguars (3-3): Leftwich, take the week off.
22. Redskins (2-5): Stick with Brunell. Trust me.
23. Texans (2-4): Two words…. Wali Lundy.
24. Lions (1-6): Won, then played Jets close.
25. Bills (2-5): They have to go somewhere….
26. Packers (2-4): Aaron Rodgers’ day is coming.
27. 49ers (2-4): See Bills.
28. Cardinals (1-6): Edge has no edge.
29. Titans (1-5): Young never was the answer.
30: Dolphins (1-6): Does Harrington really look serviceable?
31: Browns (1-5): All these 1-win teams…
32. Raiders (1-5): They really are this bad.
